Puppy evaluations

Evaluating our puppies is the most important part of the puppy selection process.  By scoring these little munchkins across a variety or traits, and getting to know your families' experience and preferences, we will be able to share holistically with our families the puppies we believe would be a match for them. 

Evaluations take place on Day 52/53 (7 1/2 weeks)

Once evaluations are done we will send our families the puppy evaluation cards, highlighting top matches, based on their preferences.

I perform the evaluations in an enclosed area that is new and unfamiliar to the puppy.  A variety of activities are performed and observations are made to score the below traits:

• Assertiveness
• Confidence
• Motivation Level
• Nerve Strength/Resiliency
• Touch Tolerance
• Energy Level
• Sound Sensitivity
• Sight Sensitivity
• Prey Drive
• Human Focus or Pack Drive
• Dog Friendliness
• Tenderhearted
