Our dogs are first and foremost our cherished four-legged family members and adventure companions. The Doodle breed won my heart with their warm, intelligent, and loving temperament! They are loyal and versatile companion dogs that tend to focus more on their people than surroundings. At High Park Doodles I aim to raise Doodle puppies that are happy, incredibly social, eager to learn, easily trained and up for a variety of adventures and activities.
When you bring home one of our puppies, I feel that it's so important that I do everything I can to set you and your puppy up for success. I want you to feel confident that you're providing the best environment for your puppy to thrive!
I'm sure this isn't coming as a surprise, but I'll say it anyways! Puppies require a high level of commitment, care, and patience. They will also be relying on you to provide the very best in:
- Nutrition
- Household and environmental safety
- Appropriate exercise and socialization with other dogs or animals
- Training
- Veterinary care
I truly believe that it is my responsibility to be my puppies' voice and advocate in matching him or her with the right home. At High Park Doodles, we are committed to the development and socialization of our puppies.
Puppy Program includes:
- Weight charts
- Weekly nail trims - this will get your puppies used to having their nails trimmed regularly. We recommend you keep this routine when your puppy comes home!
- Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS)

- Movie time! - each day we'll play a new movie that introduces new sounds, voices, and tones

Puppies will go home at 8 weeks of age. We will schedule a 1 hour puppy pick up time for each family, where I can share your puppy package details and answer any questions you may have. Puppies will go home with an individualized puppy pack.

Adoption Process
1. Fill out a Puppy Application
First, we want to learn about YOU! Please fill out a puppy application to get started. Once we receive your application we'll read through it and reach out within 24 hours. We'll discuss upcoming litters, provide more information on our program, and answer any questions you may have.
2. Pregnancy is Confirmed: Secure your Puppy Reservation or Jump on the Waiting List!
As soon as we have confirmed pregnancy on the breed(s) you have selected in your application form, we will email/text all families to let them know when we will be expecting puppies. If you are ready to say “yes!” to adding a new four-legged member to your family, we will require a $500 non refundable deposit to hold your puppy reservation. We will only be accepting a limited number of reservation deposits, until puppies are born and we know how many are in the litter!
For example, for our Bernedoodle puppies we will accept 6 reservation deposits, and these families will be able to select their puppies in the order in which their deposit was received. There will likely be 10+ puppies in a Bernedoodle litter, so additional interested families can be added to our waitlist. Once the puppies are born we will notify these families, and they will be added to our reservation list, below the original 6 families in the order in which we receive their $500 deposits.
3. Watch them grow!
We want to include you in the entire puppy experience and ensure you have the opportunity to get to know your puppy as we move all of the stages of our puppy program! Our families will receive weekly Pupdate emails that include:
- Updates on how the puppies & momma are doing
- What stage of development they're at and what activities we're doing with them
- And of course loads of pictures & videos

4. Puppy Match & Selection
Between 7-8 weeks old, we schedule our vet exams and complete our puppy evaluations. After the exams and evaluations are complete, I'll send the details to each family on my reservation list and highlight the puppies that I believe would make the best match for YOU! I’ll share information with you about the puppies’ health, personalities, temperaments, and traits, and we’ll review together the preferences you provided on coat, color, and gender. Think of me as your guidance counselor. I'm here to support you to make an informed choice... and the best choice, not only for your family, but to honor the puppy and put him or her in the best possible home.
5. Final Puppy Payment
The final puppy payment is required when you’ve officially selected your puppy. You'll receive an email from us introducing you to your new family member. We'd love to know if you have a name picked out so we can start using it!

7. Puppy Pick Up Day
At 8 weeks old, the puppies are ready to leave our home. You'll come to our home on a set puppy pick-up date, which we will communicate to you when the puppies are born.
In the event that you have submitted a $500 non refundable deposit, but cannot take a puppy at the time they are ready to go home, you can wait until the timing is better for you (up to 24 months from your deposit date). The deposit is non-refundable unless High Park Doodles cannot supply you with a puppy for whatever reason.
